About Yalula

Yalula.bt is a product of two ideas coming together from two different teams. When Dragon Coders was incorporated in 2019, it aspired to develop a platform called Zhabtog, which was an all-in-one e-commerce online market platform. The word ‘Zhabtog’ is a Dzongkha word which literally translates to ‘Service’ in English.

The team started to develop the Zhabtog platform as an in-house product and envisioned it to be a digital marketplace aimed at creating employment and earning opportunities for its users by enabling them to sell their services and products online. However, the project was halted indefinitely, even before it was launched properly and was put aside for the longest time due to lack of funding sources for the developers, who had to divert attention to other paid projects.

Fast forward to 2023, it so happened that the Yalula Partner Team had exactly the same idea for an e-commerce platform and were looking for a developer company that could do the job. Their aspiration was exactly the same—to provide every shop a digital platform to take their business online.
